Tocal Field Days

Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Roads, and Minister for Regional Transport)—I acknowledge the outstanding success of the 2025 Tocal Field Days, held from May 2nd to 4th at Tocal Agricultural College. Since its inception in 1984, Tocal Field Days has become the premier agricultural event in the Hunter, Newcastle, and Central Coast regions, attracting thousands of visitors annually. This year's event featured over 370 exhibitors showcasing the latest in farming techniques, machinery, renewable energy solutions, and award-winning livestock. Attendees enjoyed a diverse program, including live working dog demonstrations, farm skills workshops, and sustainable farming presentations. The introduction of the inaugural Paddock to Plate Experience by Tocal Livestock Enterprise highlighted the importance of sustainable farming and provided visitors with insights into premium beef production. Tocal Field Days continues to be a vital platform for showcasing agricultural advancements and strengthening the bonds within our rural communities. I commend Event Manager Charise Foulstone, the dedicated team of staff, and the enthusiastic volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure the event's success. Their commitment to celebrating rural innovation and fostering community engagement is truly commendable.
