Michael Maffey Maitland Business Chamber

Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Regional Transport and Roads)—Thank you Michael Maffey for your service to the Maitland community in your role as President of the Maitland Business Chamber. Michael is a long-standing member of the Chamber Executive Committee having served as Vice President in 2020-2022 and then President in 2022-2024, two of the most difficult periods in recent business history. In 2020 Maitland had many shops already under stress when local construction, natural disasters and COVID pushed many more to the brink. During the rebuilding phase from 2022-24, Michael was a tireless and vocal champion for local business in Maitland. Michael presided over the 75th anniversary of the incorporated Business Chamber earlier this year, an important milestone during his tenure as president. Michael will remain an active on the committee and is also Chairman of Early Links support and inclusion services. Thank you Michael, for your service to the Maitland Business Chamber.
