Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Roads, and Minister for Regional Transport)—Congratulations to all the winners at the recent Maitland Region Society of Artists members exhibition. The best in show went to Svetlana Katelas for "Complicated Simplicity". Other prizes went to: Open category‑Joanne Conder for "Unspoiled", Susanne Gorring "Salvation of the Pitthorse" and Greg Uhihorn " Meeting at Queens Wharf". Works on paper - Gaye Shield for "Glen Davis", Gabby Horvath "Branxton Town" and Helen Elphinstone-King's "Blue Hole, Armidale". Abstract - Dorothy Compton for " Violet Waves", Yvonne McCann's " Veiw from Space" and "Wistful" by Karen Malmgren. Minitures - Gaye Shield for " Lucy in the garden", Kay Sparks for "Old kitchen Table" and Bronwyn O'Neil "The Chat" Portrait - Kaye Sparks' "Les", Robert Ferguson " Self Portrait in Studio" and Robyn Bailey "Girl Talk" Sculpture - Sheryl Cain's "Autumn Flowers", Lorraine Tindall "Family Tree" and Dorothy Compton "Poised". Watercolour - Jennifer Holis' " Distance Riverland", Jill Falls "Storm over the Headland " and Margaret Heslop "Proud Mum" Other awards were presented to Marea Kozaczynski-McCaig "Banksia Blooms", Jackie Barron "Peaceful" and Joanne Conder " Nature's Harmony ".
