Maitland Camera Club

Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Regional Transport and Roads)—Congratulations to the Maitland Camera Club, who recently triumphed at the NSW Top Shot competition. This remarkable achievement is testament to the exceptional talent within the club. The Maitland Camera Club members won eight out of the 27 awards on offer, including three first prizes and five minor awards. Brad Le Brocque and Debbie Sutton demonstrated their excellence in nature photography, with Brad winning first place in Nature Prints and Debbie earning third place. In the Nature Digital category, Peter Ryan garnered second and third places with his impressive Kenyan images. Julie Rathbone's portraiture skills were recognised with a first-place award in Monochrome Digital. Additionally, Grahame Smith achieved first and third places in Colour Digital, while Allison Hayes received second place in Monochrome Print. This success highlights the diverse and passionate talents of the 48 club members, ranging from novices to seasoned photographers.
