JOSIE MCINTOSH

Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Regional Transport and Roads)—Congratulations to Rutherford Technology High School student Josie McIntosh who featured as a tap-dancer at this year's Schools Spectacular's 40th anniversary show called 'Fabulous'. Josie has been tapping away since she was four years old, and trains at Galaxy Talent Academy in Rutherford. Now 18, Josie has completed her HSC exams, school formal and graduation ceremony, making her performance at the School Spectacular in front of thousands at Qudos Arena the last step in her High School journey. What makes the occasion even more special is that Josie's dad Andrew McIntosh who was also a student at Rutherford Technology High School performed in the Schools Spectacular in 1992. Congratulations Josie for being selected as a featured dancer and representing your school and wider Maitland community at this year's School Spectacular. You have made us all very proud, and I am sure that it was a truly historic event for McIntosh family.
