JANICE KING - NOMINEE FOR MAITLAND LOCAL WOMAN OF THE YEAR

Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Regional Transport and Roads) —Congratulations to Janice King who was a recent nominee in the Maitland Local Woman of the Year Awards. Janice has worked as a registered nurse at Maitland Grange Nursing Home since the day it opened, caring for thousands of residents in that time. While Janice has reached retirement age, she still gives her all every single shift. Janice is Maitland born and bred and is now reaching the age where she is nursing some of the people she grew up with. While this would have been a challenge to many people, Janice has continued in her role and serves as a familiar and comforting face to them. Janice is most worthy of recognition as a valued and valuable member of the Maitland Community. Congratulations and thank you Janice.
