Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland)—Thanks to Trevor Robinson, for his long commitment to the Mutual Bank who is retiring from the board, after seven years at the helm as Chairman of the Board. A Director of the Mutual since 2010, Trevor has served as a member of all of the board's committees including Audit, Risk, Insurance, Industrial Relations, Remuneration and Nominations. The 10th Chairman of the Board, in partnership with the Mutual's CEO Mr Geoff Seccombe, Trevor has overseen a period of substantial growth, with the bank now boasting $1 billion in assets and a magnificent new head office at East Maitland. In addition to these tangible achievements, Mr Robinson has presided over the internal securitisation program, trading and legal name changes, and a strategic plan putting members first. It is important to note the global and national events which have impacted on the banking industry since just before and during Trevor's period as Chairman of the Board. From the Global Financial Crisis to the Bushfires, floods and COVID, the bank has been putting members first to ensure stability and growth for them and our broader community.
