Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland)—I congratulate the Hunter River Agricultural and Horticultural Association [HRAHA] who were recently awarded a grant under the 2021 Community Building Partnership Program. The HRAHA received $15,000. These funds will allow the Association to replace the fences of the Cattle Parade Area. The Association works hard throughout the year to develop and deliver a spectacular local show that provides entertainment and education for people throughout Maitland and across the entire Hunter region. The show provides opportunities for locals to display their skills and produce, as well as chances to discover how our various aspects of agriculture deliver quality food products to our tables. I congratulate the Association on the awarding of these funds, and I encourage the people of Maitland to support this important local association and to attend the first post-COVID Maitland show from Friday 18th to Sunday 10th February 2022 to appreciate the efforts of the organisers and the exhibitors.
