Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland)—In 2013 wife and husband team of Leonnie and Josh Carter made the decision to establish Carter Heavy Haulage and Transport. Each had established skill bases developed over years of experience, and together they made the entrepreneurial leap. Fast forward to 2022 and I am very happy to be able to extend my congratulations to the Carters and their team upon their nomination as finalists in the 27th Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards. Leonnie overseas the running of this business with a strong focus on service delivery and quality assurance. Josh has been recognised as the Road Freight NSW Professional Driver of the Year in both 2018 and 2019. They support and are supported by a team of skilled drivers and operations/administration staff. I am very happy that their combined efforts have been recognised with this nomination. I wish the entire team at Carter Heavy Haulage and Transport the very best of luck with the awards, and as they move forward into 2022.
