CODY BEAVIS

Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Regional Transport and Roads)—Congratulations to Cody Beavis who recently represented the NSW U15 All Schools at the Australian Football Championships. The tournament was held in Ballarat and Cody put in an outstanding performance, picking up a Most Valuable Player and Players Player award and the coach's award for the tournament as a whole. Cody has been playing AFL since he was 9 and is in his third year with the Sydney Swans Academy as well as the Super 24 Squad for the last two years. Cody's sister, Aleah, is also a member of the Swans Academy in the AFLW, so talent obviously runs in the family. Cody is a student at All Saints College Maitland, and he does not limit his sporting success to AFL. Cody is also a member of the NSW Country Rugby League U15 team, and has also represented his school in football as a goalkeeper in the Bill Turner Cup. Maitland Saints Australian Football Club and the whole community are so proud of Cody's achievements. I want to wish Cody the best of luck as he continues to pursue his AFL dreams, I am excited to see what the future holds for him.
