Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Regional Transport and Roads)— I pay tribute to the remarkable service and unwavering dedication of Doug and Tanya Crich, owners of Baileys Jewellers. With heavy a heart, I acknowledge the closure of this Maitland business which was started by Des and Jim Bailey in 1967. Doug and Tanya Crich have held the reigns since 1993, leaving a permanent mark on the fabric of our town and as beloved members of our community. Beyond their role as purveyors of fine jewellery, the Baileys team have actively supported local events and sponsored charitable initiatives. Their commitment to Maitland extends far beyond their business exemplifying the true essence of community spirit. The staff and family of Baileys Jewellers have touched the lives of countless individuals bringing joy, celebration, and elegance to every occasion. Their expertise, diligence and genuine care have touched the lives of countless individuals, transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary ones.
