50 YEARS OF RUTHERFORD MEDICAL CENTRE
Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Regional Transport and Roads)—On 24 January 2024 Rutherford Medical Centre will mark an impressive 50 years of delivering preventive medical services to the Maitland community. Established in 1974 by Dr. Sanjoy Chatterjee and Dr. Sambhu Mukherjee in Brooks Street, Telarah, the Rutherford Medical Centre has been a pillar of support for patients in Maitland and the surrounding areas. Following four decades of dedicated service, Dr. Sanjoy Chatterjee and Dr. Sambhu Mukherjee retired in 2014. The current practitioners, including Dr. Rajiv Ahuja, Dr. Srikanth Sakrepatna, Dr. Nagy Ghandour, and Dr. Sanoj Joseph, continue the legacy of compassionate care. On behalf of the Maitland and neighbouring communities, heartfelt gratitude is extended to the entire Rutherford Medical Centre team, including past and present staff, for decades of unwavering commitment and service to our Maitland community.
